Here at the Astrarium there is no emphasis on any particular tradition, religion or path but rather on eclectic spirituality and mysticism. Drawing from the Wisdom of Ancient Mysteries, Natural Shamanism, Religious Mysticism and the anchoring revelations of the New Age – The Astrarium is an elixir of all things esoteric. It is our aim to help translate these esoteric and sometimes abstract ideologies and methodologies into practical applications for the modern individual’s everyday use.

Imbolc in various forms is probably the oldest holiday in recorded history, celebrated from the 31st of January to the 2nd of February. It has influenced and has connections to many modern holidays ranging from Candlemas, St. Brigid’s Feast and Valentine’s Day. Regardless of which incarnation it takes we see that Imbolc is a celebration of the returning light of the waxing sun and the first signs of spring as the Earth Mother begins to reawaken. It honors the light of Great Spirit in the symbol of the Sun god and is a time of purification – a spring cleaning, if you will. This is the time that we cleanse our selves, our homes and our spirits. It is celebrated by lighting candles in honor of the returning Sun. Imbolc is a reminder that just as the sun and spring always return, so does the light of our personal soul, being reborn again and again into new experiences of life. It is a celebration of the fertility, light and love in life.Read More:http://theastrarium.com/imbolc/
